Alexandra Nicolae - avocat accidente rutiere, despagubiri accidente auto

IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS A LAWYER IN A SINGLE SENTENCE, HOW WOULD THAT SOUND?

Determined, precise, persuasive, and ambitious.

WHEN DID YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A LAWYER AND WHY?

I decided to become a lawyer during college, but the desire to study at the Faculty of Law was sparked by the law books in my father’s library, books I tried to decipher when I was young.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR PROFESSION?

What I love most about my profession is the independence, the freedom to choose strategies for handling cases.

WHAT DID WINNING YOUR FIRST CASE IN COURT MEAN TO YOU?

Winning my first case in court meant confirming that I was on the right path and that success was within reach.

HOW IMPORTANT IS THE TEAM YOU ARE PART OF AND HOW MUCH DOES INDIVIDUAL EXPERIENCE MATTER IN THE LAWYER PROFESSION?

The team I am part of is obviously very important. Without teamwork, in this field, you can’t get very far. As for individual experience, it is also very valuable. Without experience, you cannot leverage the team you are part of, and, as in any profession or trade, experience is what recommends you.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE WORK SCHEDULE AT JGV & ASSOCIATES? WHAT TIME DO YOU START? WHAT TIME DO YOU END THE PROGRAM?

The work schedule, for this field, is a good one, allowing the lawyer to also enjoy personal life after the program ends. The activity starts at 9 a.m., and depending on the activities of the day, I finish at 6 p.m.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU TO BE PART OF A LAW FIRM WITH OVER 40 LAWYERS?

Being part of a law firm with over 40 lawyers is a real pride and, at the same time, an advantage, as the experience of over 40 colleague lawyers allows us to evolve professionally, including individually.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN THE OFFICE OR IN COURT?

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy nature, walking, and reading.

WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE YOU HAVE RECEIVED SO FAR IN LIFE AND FROM WHOM?

The best advice I received was from my guiding lawyer during the internship, who taught me that when working with people, which is extremely difficult, before getting annoyed, to count to 10, breathe, and then talk to the client.

WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE YOU HAVE RECEIVED SO FAR IN LIFE AND FROM WHOM?

Both individual work and teamwork are important, perhaps equally. If you don’t put in individual effort, you can’t help the team you are part of, which means that both you and your teammates are at a disadvantage.
