The event brings together leaders and representatives from within the organization to discuss and make decisions regarding the future direction and priorities of the IBA. Currently, there are over 80,000 lawyers from leading law firms worldwide and approximately 190 bar associations and law societies operating in over 170 countries within the IBA.

Romania’s involvement in this project underscores its position as a center of interest and professional development within the international legal community. Hosting this event in Bucharest is a recognition of the high professional standards and contributions of Romanian lawyers to global dialogues and practices. This initiative places Bucharest alongside other major European capitals that host large-scale professional events, providing the Bucharest Bar with the opportunity to interact with a significant number of fellow lawyers from around the world.
